| Side Effects: Levitra® can cause the following adverse effects: - headache, flushing, dizziness - temporary vision abnormalities - allergic reactions (difficulty breathing; difficulty swallowing, swelling of the face, tongue, or face), stuffy or runny nose, itching or a rash - chest pain or an irregular heartbeat - diarrhea, nausea, upset stomach, heartburn - prolonged erection (more than 4 hours) Notify your doctor If these effects persist or worsen. | Uses: Levitra® is a newer drug for oral treatment of erectile dysfunction in men, developed by Bayer/GlaxoSmithKline. Levitra® acts very similar to Viagra® by increasing blood flow to the penis, which in combination with sexual stimulation, causes an erection. Levitra® works faster than Viagra®, and its effect lasts up to 5 hours after ingestion. It should be taken no more often than once a day.
